E.R. Refuel Sub "Big Betty"
I built this for Frantic’s challenge. 100 km in under 1 hour to deliver 100k L of fuel

When you desperately need fuel and it needs to be very quick and very subtle at the same time…
Technical Data:
- Top Speed 31 m/s at 9m Depth (must be below surface)
- 3 Jet Engines
- 4 x 40 ft ISO Fluid Containers each about 24.000 L
- 1 Front Fluid Tank for transport of another 16.000 L
- 89.000 l Jetfuel for propulsion
- 4 Beds for the Crew
- A sad, single plant for entertainment of said crew
To start:
- Go to second floor
- Port side is the starter key
- Wait til she reaches 60 RPS
- Fully engage clutch
- Fully engage throttle
- Set Depth to 9m to make her go full speed
Without cargo fill the top ballast tanks, lower clutch to 84, go to operational depth at 40 m/s +
Features/Gimmicks:
- ISO Containers can be removed via crane to minimize loading time (Pumps are slow)
- Lots of automated features to protect users from themselves…..
- Vertical speed limited and only automatically controlled (safety feature, she kept crashing into the ocaen floor)
- Automatic depth hold (made it myself)
- Search lights stay level automatically
- Depth scanner stays level automatically
- Automated Bilge Pumps
- Ready to go with lower ballast tanks filled
- Descriptions everywhere
- A sad little plant, hidden, somewhere….
- Equipment Racks
- Firefighting Equipment (fuel tanks can catch fire now)
