CSM Naval Industries

Les Chantiers de Saint Malo, are happy to announce that you have been selected for STOE program
CSM decided to deliver one VSPM 21 prototype to each of our military, national and industrial partners for sea trials and operational evaluation: STOE
We are waiting for your feedback, modifications and further requests.
We are also searching for partners to achieve production readiness for our last concept VSPM 21.

CONTEXT

Since a few years, maritime word faced an emerging asymmetric warfare. Huge boats are expensive to build, to maintain to update and exposed against fleets of simple fast missile carriers that can, in peace time be used as SAR patrol boats.

That’s why CSM developed a highly capable system able to maintain national sovereignty over coastal waters as well as facing all weather Search and Rescue missions.

THE BOAT

VSPM concept was built around four jet engines and a foiled hull. Able to achieve 200 knots, it’s also comfortable in very shallow waters such as rivers. It carries four ARGOS (sea to sea / sea to ground) ballistic missiles launchable while on foils.

All electronics have been selected amongst our best suppliers such as “MrNJersey integrated systems Gmbh” and provide an exceptional situational awareness for a reduced crew of three.
Thanks to a small radar cross section and electric secondary engines VSPN can operate in stealth, and is capable of dynamic diving to avoid incoming threat.

Our very low deck, an integrated crane as well as a RHIB storage make rescue missions as practical as possible. The amazing torque of jet turbines allows tugging of large sized boats.

Please keep in mind that VSPN can be dangerous for its crew if operated without caution.
We would like to thank the “MRNjersey” company for their industrial engineering support and the share of their patents.

Please contact CSM sales manager on steam network for inquiries.
