Description:

This mod is a submod of my new Effect Overhaul
––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––

This mod is a simple overhaul of the building effects in the campaign.

    Content
  • Each building has it’s use
  • Effects that increase a certain income like industry by percentage are increased slightly
  • Agriculture provides slightly more food
  • Minor settlements need less food than cities
  • Mining income and research bonuses are increased
  • Sanitation buildings have almost only positive effects
  • Military recruitment buildings have a small upkeep but increase public order through their garrisons
  • Slave buildings decrease slave population (selling slaves) but also public order penalty through slaves, in addition they provide some welth, construction and food bonuses like in the >slave mod<
  • Several minor changes

The goal is to give worth to every building and to every upgrade. If you did not upgrade your buildings because you did not want to pay 4000 gold for +50 income per turn, this mod should help you. By increasing the percentage bonuses, it is more possible to achieve a perfect province income with the right combination of buildings in one province.

Is this unbalanced? I hope no. Spending money for infrastructure is never wasted. It will turn back in a better income per turn that you can notice. So it is up to you if you spend your money for expensive armies or if you create a good wealth generation first. Be patient and you will be able to raise more and stronger armies.

Compatibility

This mod overwrites building effects and nothing more. There should be no compatibility issues except with mods that also change buildings effects.
It is save game compatible but keep in mind that your current food, public ordner and income situation might change if you turn the mod on/off.

You can use this mod with all campaigns, but only the following ones are affected:
Grand Campaign, Imperator Augustus, Caesar in Gaul and Wrath of Sparta, Hannibal.

At the moment, this mod does not affect Empire Divided or Rise of Republic.
