Description:

The final version of Mythos, hopefully. The mod’s codebase is a absolute ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mess but by god we got this thing working again. Some of the worst issues and bugs have been fixed, and some minor flavor has been added. I don’t actually remember why it’s named Mythos 3.5 instead of 4, but I’m keeping it for the workshop version.

And hey, 4th time’s the charm, right? Well, 5th if you count the CK2+ version, actually.

==========
WEREWOLVES
==========

Featuring:
– A control mechanic, representing a werewolf’s control over their shapeshifting and whether they lean towards the wolf or human side of their nature
– A secrecy system keeping their nature hidden from the world unless caught and exposed
– Regeneration from injuries
– The ability to challenge weak werewolf lieges to combat in a new duel system
– Integration with the Horse Lords werewolf events for owners of that DLC

========
VAMPIRES
========
As hunters hidden among their prey, a vampire’s identity is hidden from the humans living around them. Using immortality and guile, vampires are well-suited to navigate the courts of Europe
Featuring:
– A secrecy system keeping their nature hidden from the world unless caught and exposed
– A hunger mechanic, forcing them to feed on human blood
– The ability to heal or improve attributes when feeding
– The ability to grant their gift to others and bring them into their dynasty
– A Blood Court government, in which, with Conclave, additional voters are added from the oldest courtiers and vassals in the realm

=====
MAGIC
=====
Beyond the paths of diplomacy, war, stewardship, intrigue, and theology, some characters can be trained in secret rites of magic, granting supernatural gifts, at the cost of their vitality and the emnity of many religions.
Featuring:
– Four paths granting and enhancing different abilities, two of which are available to non-mages
– A fifth path can be gained through special events in Magic, Theology, or Scholarship in some circumstances

Work in Progress
Current Features:
– Increasing size and strength as they age
– 3 subraces – Hrimthursar (Frost Giants), Eldjotnar (Fire Giants), and Bergrisar (Hill Giants)

=====
DJINN
=====
Mystic and sometimes monstrous Arabic beings made from smokeless fire who are said to have roamed the earth before the creation of man
Work in Progress
– Natural Magic negates the penalties for magic education

==========
REVENANTS
==========
"It would not be easy to believe that the corpses of the dead should sally (I know not by what agency) from their graves, and should wander about to the terror or destruction of the living, and again return to the tomb, which of its own accord spontaneously opened to receive them, did not frequent examples, occurring in our own times, suffice to establish this fact, to the truth of which there is abundant testimony." – William of Newburgh
– Unique portraits, cultures, and CBs
– Use corpses to resurrect non-reinforcing, high-morale troops
– Low attrition
– Gains benefits from depopulation
– Due to most events not making sense for Revenants and several mechanics not being clear, Revenants are AI controlled and not playable.
