The Unending Night – Doctrine of Blood
Requires "The Unending Night" mod by Ylow.
Adds in a Doctrine with 3 options
Sanctify Vampirism
-Has access to the "Sanctified Feeding" interaction. See v0.25 changelog for details.
-The new faith will have Vampyr, Vampyr Teenager and Dhampir as virtues.
-Vampyr and Vampyr Teenager receive +40 opinion bonus, Dhampir receives a +10 opinion bonus. For Vampyr’s this is a significant boon which also mostly offsets the significant opinion malus after you have fed on someone AND they realized your true nature.
-Hates Faiths that Demonize Vampirism.
Ignore Vampirism
-No bonuses or penalties towards either other Doctrine view.
Demonize Vampirism
-The new faith will have Vampyr, Vampyr Teenager and Dhampir as sins within the faith. All three lose 1 Piety each month and -20 opinion. Not a great faith to be in if you are a vampyr.
-They hate those who Sanctify Vampirism, and slightly dislike those who Ignore Vampirism.
Potential Features
Update 8/12/21: Perhaps a blood feast that can be held rarely, uses up lots of might, and gives Popular Opinion bonus for a time?
Known Bugs
-Sanctified Feeding, if used at 1 might below max, can bring you above your normal maximum. This doesn’t break anything afaik, and I kind of like it, so it stays.
I didn’t put in anything for child or infant vampyrs because I don’t play that way.
