International Harvester L/R Series
International Harvester was a manufacturer of trucks and agricultural equipment based out of Chicago. In 1949, IH replaced its K series of trucks with the L series. For the first time, the heavy duty series of trucks received a distinctive design from the light and medium duty trucks with the L series. In 1953 the L series was renamed the R series, with the heavy duty trucks receiving only minor cosmetic changes and some more engine options to mark the change. Heavy duty R series production continued until 1967, gradually replaced by the new Loadstar and Fleetstar series of trucks.
This mod was created for ryantheskinny’s alternate US history project. All vehicles can be purchased for dollars.
