This mod is made from my War Lion Monsters mod and brought to the dark elves. They are far bigger than their HE counterparts (unless you dl’d my other mod then they’re slightly larger than Peakprides).
I wanted to make the war lions for Dark Elves a unique mod as they already host an anti large and anti infantry monster in their roster. Their roster is so diverse and nearly all units serve a different purpose. After some deliberation, I figured they are missing the lore of life from their roster. However, to remain somewhat lore friendly, I took some inspiration from the vampire counts and brought regen over.

If you’re looking for a new unit that’s got broken damage, there’s a plethora of other mods in the workshop that could serve your needs. I wanted to make the "Midnights" (so edgy) into a unique supportive monster (because lions hunt in packs) that still can dish out decent damage, but nothing otherworldly. They got a healthy 65 base, 95 AP damage (5 units) with good all around stats. The only thing I wanted to avoid was a large charge bonus as this unit’s purpose isn’t cycle charging the line and didn’t want to take away from hydras and cold one knights’ purpose. It’s main focus is to make everyone else’s job a lot easier.
Unit highlights
Their attacks inflict "Sundered Armour" (-30 armor) so other units can kill a lot faster.
They bring "War Lion Regen" (restore 2 hp per second) in 40m range around them.
They also have "The Hunger" ability so they can stay in melee longer and keep their regen up. They also come with -25% fire weakness and no missile resistance like most large entities have. They can leech tank pretty well, but still must b careful of anti large units, fire, and missiles.
They have the "Smoke Bomb" ability (-72% speed, -72% charge speed) to help keep cavalry off their back line and to help the slow Kharibdyss get to its intended target.
They can be recruited from the same building hydras are recruited from. They also benefit from the tech/general line bonus from hydras

I tested this mod out for a few hours, but would really like feedback if it’s balanced or not. I really dislike ruining campaigns that should be balanced and fun.
