MORTAL EMPIRES CHAOS INVASION

Chaos Invasion is an actual threat to everyone anywhere in the world, no matter how far or close, whatever faction you are playing, none is safe from the ruination and destruction. They are coming with serious army unit composition. Led by level 40 Lord and unit rank 9.

Archaon hordes comes with a large army size of 40 high-tier unit each (exclusive).

Norscan tribes sail their longship, marauding into every continent.

Beastmen herds emerge from their hideout to burn nearby Magical Forest.

Skaven clans unleash Vermintide, ruining racial capital provinces.

Chaos Invasion will start earlier, the Grand Alliance of Chaos, world become more corruptive as Chaos Invasion goes, Lightning Strike are tweaked no longer you are able to cheese your way fighting multiple armies without proper planning, and anti-climatic ending is no more.

  • End Times begin on turn 100, the whole world suffer +4 Chaos Corruption. With more destructive AI behaviour.
  • +50 Diplomacy Relationships bonus from Norsca-Beastmen-Skaven to Chaos, countering Shield of Civilization perk. Skaven, Cult of Pleasure and The Barrow Legion are neutral towards Warriors of Chaos.
  • For every province that completely destroyed (4 settlements), the Chaos Corruption all provinces effect become stronger by +1.
  • Disabling enemy reinforcement with Lightning Strike ability only available for specific Lord and building facilities.
  • No Age of Peace until Warriors of Chaos are completely wiped-out.

WARRIORS OF CHAOS CAMPAIGN CHANGES

Vassalizing all Norsca are more convenient. When capturing a settlement even ruins in Norsca continent, you will get an option to give back their homeland to each of respective native tribes even when they are dead. Also if vassal faction leader is killed by enemy, they are not going to be confederated.

  • World Walkers (Trollheim Mountains)
  • Baersonling (Goromadny Mountains)
  • Skaeling (Ice Tooth Mountains)
  • Varg (Mountains of Naglfari)
  • Aesling (Mountains of Hel)
  • Graeling (Helspire Mountains)
  • Bjornling (Vanaheim Mountains)
  • Aghol (Aghol Wastelands)
  • Mung (Ironfrost Glacier)

And so the mortal world fell away into oblivion, every Chaos Rift that raised in your land, is a mark that Ruinous Powers are slowly devouring your empire. And a sign that there are even more Chaos hordes joining Archaon’s dark conquest.

  • Ruins that caused by worshipper of Chaos cannot be resettled by anyone as long as Warriors of Chaos is alive. (Beastmen’s Defiled Blood-Grounds mechanic)
  • When Warriors of Chaos raise a Chaos Rift, a small basic army are teleported from the portal. Limited to 1 army per 1 province per 1 campaign run.

These bonuses are taken from Everchosen Summon’s dilemma.
Follower of the Everchosen. As Archaon marshals his twisted forces agains the Old World, he brings new improvements to his army for early-game stage.

    Faction Effects

  • Everchosen: Immune to horde infighting (factionwide)
  • Chaos corruption +4
  • Casualty replenishment rate +10%
  • Leadership: +3
    Lord Effects

  • Immune to Psychology (Lord’s army)

The True Everchosen. Defeating Sarthorael the Everwatcher event, will reward you additional massive buffs that going to help tremendously in your late-game campaign.

  • Chaos corruption: +2
  • Unit recruit rank: +3 for all units
  • Upkeep: -75% for all units

NORSCA CAMPAIGN CHANGES

Due to lesser number of building slot than other races, it hinder them to assemble varied army composition. A problem especially for the AI where they are spamming same unit. Major settlement building in Norsca land can recruit following units:

    Tier 1

  • Marauders
  • Marauder Spearmen
  • Marauder Hunters
  • Marauder Horsemen
  • Norscan Warhound
    Tier 4

  • Feral Mammoth

Everchosen Summon’s dilemma are removed, Norsca will serve Archaon as vassal when Chaos Invasion commence. They are now become Undivided devotion, allowing to receive all of Dark Gods gifts at the same time. But beware you can only receive one final reward.

    Khorne

  • Weapon strength: +10% for melee infantry
  • Unit experience gain per turn: +100

    Nurgle

  • Casualty replenishment rate: +20%
  • Wound recovery time: -4

    Slaanesh

  • Upkeep: -10% for all units
  • Lord recruit rank: +5

    Tzeentch

  • Research rate: +20%
  • Wind of Magic starting ammount: +20

MOD COMPATIBILITY

Put this mod at the top of load order to prevent problems. You can play it with any of your favorite mod, overhaul such as SFO: Grimhammer Il by Venris or even OvN Lost Faction by Team OvN. Save-games compatible, no need to start new campaign. Playable on multiplayer.
