UPDATE 11/25/2019 – Added three general units for all factions, because A) They are cool looking and B) Provides every faction more elite options for a mid to late game build. Black Guard of Naggarond (Greatswords), Black Guard of Naggarond (Sword&Shield), Black Guard of Naggarond (Crossbow&Shield)

UPDATE 11/18/19 – Have adjusted hardcaps to make the unit roster feel more balanced. Have added the last 4 units to the Atharti line: Satyr, Daughters (sword and spear variants), and Scions of Desire. Check discussions for unit list.

UPDATE 11/18/19 – Have made a balance pass on the Atharti Pain Reaver units. Reducing stats, reducing costs. I’ve also made it so all Atharti units need another building to be built in order to be recruited. Please let me know if this feels better in campaign, as that is my goal with this update.

UPDATE 11/16/19 – First round of Atharti pack. The desire is strong in these units! You can only recruit them from the special building chain in the city of Quintex. More will be added in the coming days to truly flesh out this roster of units. For now, you have armored unicorn riders, a centigor chariot, large dire wolves, magic artillery, and some squishy, yet savage melee units.

First off, this is the very first mod I’ve made. All the rest have been SUB-mods (to balance other people’s mods for SFO)
As much as I do enjoy seeing other people’s work inside the SFO universe, I did want to start my own project. Here it is:

The Dark Elf Revival Project aka D.E.R.P was created to do two things: 1) Take old, dead DE mods and bring them back to life in….another way. To this end, I have taken pieces of dead mods (mostly VMD and unit cards) and brought the units back in a new, more thematic way.
This first installment is focused around Khaine. (I have added an exception that allows the Scourge of Khaine to use them. That way, anyone using Mixu’s mods can recruit these units IF you either conquer Har Ganeth or confederate.)
2) To add new units, new abilities, and perhaps more of my OWN creations to keep the Dark Elves feeling fresh throughout the span of this game. We are starting off small with a unit pack. This mod will continuously be added to, until you could probably call it an overhaul.

I am very excited about this mod. I hope everyone likes it.

Once there are more units added to this mod (right now it’s just 5: Destroyers, Battle Maidens, Khainite Archers, Riders, and Spearmen) I will create an appendix for those wanting to check out the entire roster.

I plan on creating packs for the other main factions soon. Then I plan on adding something fun for the slave mechanic.
Whenever I add something, I will edit this as well as the change log – in case you all want to keep track of what is happening.

Little F.A.Q:

Is there a vanilla version? No. I don’t play vanilla anymore. SFO has won my heart lol. An I will only make mods that are compatible with it.

Can you make a compatible version for XYZ overhaul? No. Again, am strictly SFO atm. But anyone who wants to make submods for the other overhauls, go ahead, just credit this mod in the description.

X unit is OP, change it! (ok not a question, but still) I may or may not. It depends on the philosophy behind the unit. That said, I love getting feedback. Will never be hostile towards anyone providing it. By all means, help me tweak units and mechanics! If I don’t feel it needs changing, I will do my best to explain the reasons why.
