Electric Multiple Unit Pesa ELF

The ELF (Electric Low Floor) is an electric multiple unit developed by Polish rolling-stock manufacturer Pesa SA.
ELFs are standard-gauge, low-floor trains, without inter-car doors, intended for passenger transport of all types – from agglomeration, through regional and interregional to long-distance. Depending on the destination, the trains may have different acceleration, maximum operational speed, length, number of doors and interior design.
There are nearly 100 ELFs which are used by Polish operators such as SKM Warszawa, Koleje Mazowieckie, Koleje Śląskie, Koleje Wielkopolskie and Polregio.
The world premiere of ELF took place on 21 September 2010 during the InnoTrans fair in Berlin.
