British Weapons
This is the first version of my "British weapons pack" I aim to add to and improve this pack as time goes on. The aim is to add weapons from around WW1ish to modern day.
I wanted to put this version out in time for the Platinum Jubilee. God save the Queen and all that.
Starting "strong" with the british army’s standard issue service rifle family. The SA80 Service Rifle.
This mod currently features 4 variants.
The Self-Loading Rifle – L1A1 or the FN FAL. The right arm of the free world saw service with the British throughout the cold war.
The HK G3 was used in a limited roll, mainly by British Special Forces.
Short Magazine Lee–Enfield Mk I – A rifle that was used all the way back in WW2. Comes with a scoped variant.
The L115A1 / L96 – The Accuracy international Arctic warfare, Designed and built by 4 blokes in a shed.
The HK-MP5 arguably made famous when its appeared in the hand’s of the SAS as they stormed the Iranian Embassy in london.
STEN SMG – Cheap and Nasty. So prefect for the British.
The Sterling SMG was designed to replace the Sten but wasn’t finished until after WW2. Its stayed in service until the SA80 was introduced.
The L4 Bren – a copy of a Czech design, tough and reliable the Bren had a long and storied service life.
Next Generation Light Anti-Armour Weapon (NLAW) – Designed and produced by Saab in contract with the British and Swedish Defence authorities.
