Beira as a character
Beira starts the game with 2 hearts and a broken heart. and her veil, which allows her to push enemies away or even freeze them to death.
Double tap your firing key into a direction, and Beira’s special attack is performed.
Beira’s curse
A small timer is present; this timer is set based on how many hearts the player has. After it runs out, one of Beira’s hearts gets converted into a broken one.
After a threshold is reached, her “curse” level will increase, meaning; her appearance will change and her stats are also affected, her damage increases, and so does her shotspeed. however, the speed and luck stat will be negatively affected.
After Beira beats a boss, she reverts to curse stage 0.
Reverting all broken hearts into full ones. These are also filled up.
Beira folklore
This character is based upon the Cailleach, a character from Gaelic mythology.
