Description:

British Rail Class 33 Diesel Locomotive.

The class 33 was designed specifically for use in the southern region of the UK. A total of 98 the class were ordered by British Rail with the first delivered in 1960. The class operated both passenger and freight services primarily within the southern and western regions. Withdrawal of the class began during 1988. With privitisation in 1998, 40 passed to EWS. Subsequently, members of the class have been operated by Fragonset, DRS and West Coast Rail. Today a few examples are operated on the mainline by WCR whilst 24 have been preserved.

A total of 19 locomotives (also available as track assets) are provided in the following liveries:
– Loco Green (1960)
– Loco Green with yellow warning panels (1962)
– BR Blue (no cant warning line, 1967)
– BR Blue (with cant warning line, 1985)
– Railfreight Construction (1988)
– General Grey (1989)
– Dutch (1990)
– Network SouthEast (1992)
– Railfreight Grey with Mainline Sticker (1995)
– EWS (1998)
– Post Office Red (1999)
– DRS Minimodal (2002)
– West Coast Railways (2006)
