Description:
It’s been a while since I made something LNWR

And I think this is my best model to date

Many hours of work have been put into these two Long Boiler locomotives of the LNWR, as this is my first project in months that has not been a commission of some kind.

A Long Boiler locomotive is a kind of early steam locomotive where the driving wheels sit in front of the firebox and behind the smokebox. There’s a few examples of the Long Boiler locomotive in the game already; The D1/3 (Limmat), Borsig (Leopold Friedrich) and the Prussian G3.

These LNWR Long Boilers were made for passenger services, a 4-2-0 and a 4-2-2, from 1850 and 1855 respectively. These engines have been given stats appropriate for starter locos in 1850, though a little faster than the vanilla stock.

The locomotives feature:
Full custom soundset
Full animation
Dirt/Rust and aging
Full colour blend for user defined colours
Oh yeah and really nice looking models

I am going to be making more mods like this, where the process is driven by my passion for the subject. If you wish to support me and follow my progress (and get a few perks), consider becoming a Patron!
