Better Stairway
This is a simple mod that does two things.
1: It will re-spawn the ladder spawned by The Stairway every time you go back into the starting room of a floor.
It will only do this for floors visited after after picking up The Stairway and not for the same floor.
2: It will make a path from the ladder to the upper door if there is no path. This means that in greed mode, the player will always be able to access the ladder. However, it will not fix certain custom starting rooms that have different types of obstructions than Greed Mode has. This probably won’t be an issue for most players.
I might change this in the future.
What if you want to have the greed mode fix, but you don’t want the ladder to re-spawn because that gives you an unfair advantage? All you need to do is change a single line on line 6 of the main.lua, setting one variable true instead of false. You can open the main.lua file in notepad, as well as many other text editing programs.

Known issues: If a player re-rolls another item into The Stairway inside their inventory, a ladder will spawn on the same stage that they recieved The Stairway.
