Description:

Drivetrain that combines modular engine control, continuously variable transmission, and fast smooth brakes. Transmission is based on a partially engaged modular clutch that does not require any gearboxes to seamlessly change the amount of torque applied to the wheels.

Connect the composite cylinder node if you are using a turbocharger.
If the engine RPS overshoots upper limit after accelerating to maximum speed, decrease the slider with corresponding name.
Please dont insert extra logic gates between the RPS and clutch nodes, as the stable performance of CVT depends on a low tick delay.

  • Engine control maintains the constant engine RPS for the idle and full throttle states with smooth transition. Supports turbocharged and naturally aspirated modular engines.
  • Transmission type can be Auto or WASD, which differs in automatic reverse engaging. Low gear and Park are available in both modes.
  • Transmission requires only one reverse gearbox with second ratio 1:-1. You can adjust the top speed by changing its first ratio and triangles orientation.
  • The Low gear is emulated by lowering clutch pressure. If you want to have a real Low gear with different gear ratio, increase the low gear max throttle slider to 1, add an extra gearbox and connect it to the optional low gear node.
  • Increase the throttle axis sensitivity to about 20% to accelerate faster.

    Version with 8-speed transmission.
