Horde Mode – Wave Defense

Defend your base against 90 brutal waves of enemies from all factions. The enemy holds the entire map – survive on limited resources and pure tactical skill. Boss King Tigers (5x health, massive armor) spawn every 10 waves – aim for their rear!

Core Mechanics
  • Survive up to 90 escalating waves from Wehrmacht, DAK, US, and British forces
  • Enemies spawn from map edges toward your base
  • Lose when any HQ is destroyed | All bridges indestructible
  • Skip Wave & Cleanup Wrecks buttons for pacing control

Dynamic Spawn System

Spawn locations adapt to your territory control:

  • 0-33% captured: CENTER | 34-66%: MIDFIELD | 67-100%: EDGES
  • Creates a retreating "frontline" as you advance (can disable for classic spawns)

Territory & Kill Zone
  • All territories start AI-controlled
  • Capture FROZEN between waves, ACTIVE during waves
  • Kill Zone prevents spawn camping – klaxon warning, 2-sec grace, then artillery every 3 sec

Wave Reinforcements
  • Random mid-wave flanking attacks from LEFT/RIGHT edges
  • Configurable spawn chance | No heavy tanks in reinforcements

Wave Progression Scaling

Play shorter games without missing late-game content:

  • Enable to map your custom wave range (e.g., 1-30) to the full 1-90 progression
  • Heavy tanks and elite units appear at relative progression points
  • Example: Wave 23 of 30 uses Wave 69 config (same 77% progression)
  • Boss waves still spawn every 10th wave and on your final wave

Battlegroup Doctrine System
  • 6 doctrines: Mobile Infantry, Mechanized, Armored, Paratrooper, Skyfire, Juggernaut
  • Guaranteed 90 total tokens by final wave – shorter games = more tokens per wave
  • Spend 1-6 tokens per ability | Sell for 50% refund
  • EXTRAS tab: Faction-specific upgrades and passives

Squad Upgrade System (Custom BG Mode)

Select any squad to spend tokens on permanent buffs:

  • Health/Damage: +5% per stack (max 4 stacks, 1 token each)
  • Penetration: +10% per stack (vehicles and team-weapons only, max 4 stacks)
  • Elite Tank: One-time 8 tokens for +100% HP, +15% DMG, +10% PEN, +20% ACC

Wave Progression
  • Waves 1-15: Infantry + light vehicles
  • Waves 16-30: Medium tanks
  • Waves 31-60: Armor + AT infantry
  • Waves 61-90: Heavy tank dominance
  • Boss waves every 10th (1→2→3 King Tigers)

Economy & Scaling
  • Income = Base × Difficulty | Player scaling: 1P=100%, 2P=75%, 3P=50%, 4P=25%
  • 1000 pop cap | Configurable starting resources and tokens

Global: Starting units/tier, Exclusions (snipers/aircraft/artillery/armor), Capture speed, Sight radius, Building & Aircraft health
Infantry: Production toggle, Accuracy, Penetration, Health, Speed
Vehicles: Production toggle, Penetration, Health, Speed, Armor
Tanks: Production toggle, Penetration, Health, Speed, Rotation speed, Front/Side/Rear armor

Kill Tracking & Damage dealt

Live scoreboard: Infantry, MG, Bazooka, Light Vehicles, Medium Tanks, Heavy Tanks, Damage dealt
