S-866 Sovereign Ballistic Missile Submarine

DESCRIPTIONThe S-866 is lead boat in the Sovereign Class of ballistic missile submarines. Due to the shortcomings of the of the aging Ambush Class diesel subs the Newquay Navy issued a design requirement for a submarine with an unparalleled weapons capacity and extreme submerged endurance. Powered by a Genco Electric S7G reactor, the Sovereign can reach speeds well in excess of 25 knots submerged allowing to transit twice as fast as the Ambush. In addition the class is also the primary means of deployment for the Valiant DSRV, most notably when S-866 recused 22 survivors from the S-541.
Armed with 10 Triton A2 SLBMs (sub launched variant of the Abacus) the Sovereign specializes in approching via stealth and delivering an unmatched level of accurate fire power. As such the Sovereign Class commonly find themselves operating in a deterrence role, operating hidden near enemy coastlines
HOW TO USE
– Turn on the reactor using the Key in Control
– Turn on the reactor cooling pumps
– Wait for the the temperature to rise and the turbine generator to start
– You may now sit and use the throttle lever in the Helm seatFEATURES

-Armory Code is 866HOW TO USE: (PLEASE READ BEFORE COMMENTING)
To use the missile system:– Go to the MISSILE OPERATOR seat, press STATION POWER at the top right.
– Input an XYZ target:
– To input a XYZ target with the keypad, put your coordinates into the keypad at the bottom of the lower monitor and then press the INPUT WAYPOINT button, use DESIRED APEX to change the arc of the missile’s flightpath & TARGET ALTITUDE at the top left of the upper monitor to change the target locations altitude.
– To input an XYZ target with the map, press T on the top monitor, and press somewhere on the map. Use the DESIRED APEX & TARGET ALTITUDE buttons as your modifiers.
– Press TRH on the bottom monitor to toggle TERMINAL RADAR HOMING. This will make the missile search using its radar before hitting a GPS target.
– Press MASTER ARM at the bottom right.
– Press FIRE SELECTED PYLON to fire the launcher, press PYLON INCREASE to select the second missile.
