This mod contains various songs from the early to the late medieval, mainly from the European realm. The songs refer to various sources, such as medieval manuscripts, music books and anthologies.
To name a few,Rossi Codex,Cantigas de Santa Maria,Codex Calixtinus,Carmina Burana,Llibre Vermell de Montserrat,Cancioneiro de Paris.
The musical pieces are performed in medieval styles, such as the French style, Ars nova or Ars antiqua, which was often used by Troubadour. Furthermore, there are also pieces of music in liturgical conductus style or Danse Macabre from the late Middle Ages.
Notable composers to be mentioned are Thoinot Arbeau, Marie de France,
Guillaume de Machaut, Florentine Sostegno di Zanobi,
Moniot de Paris, Troubadour,
Walther von der Vogelweide, Theobald I of Navarre,
Berenguier de Palazol and many more.
