Description:

This mod has support for both External Item Descriptions and Mod Config Menu
Mod has been only tested for Repentance so far and will likely partially or completely break when run on Afterbirth+.

This mod significantly changes Apollyon, adding 2.5 new customisable ways to play him that try to make Void stronger at simultaneously absorbing items and using them in combat.

Void (the item) changes:

• Now only requires 3 charges, but its functions were split into two forms and it switches back and forth between them with each use.
• First form (Devouring Void) destroys all items in the room, granting stat ups for each destroyed passive item and absorbing active items into its second form.
• Second form (Blinding Void) copies the effects of all active items that were destroyed by the first form during the entire run.
• This new Void will also replace the old Void whenever encountered by other characters (can be toggled with Mod Config Menu).

This changes aim to make Void more flexible by allowing more easily to benefit from absorbed active items without missing out on destroying more items.

Apollyon changes:

• Now starts with the Battery, allowing for charging next Void use in advance (can be disabled with Mod Config Menu).
• Additionally deals damage to all enemies in the room whenever Void is used (can be changed with Mod Config Menu).
• Slightly nerfed starting stats: Lowered range and shot speed (both can be modified with Mod Config Menu).
• New Birthright. Makes Void summon a swarm that gets larger with each consumed item.
• Additional setting allows Apollyon to start with his Void in the pocket slot or have access to both Voids at the same time.

With these changes Void gains even more versatility and utility when in Apollyon’s hands, hopefully adding some more flavour to the character.
