[WOTC] Skyrim Daedric Arsenal (v1.3)
"Drawn towards these lands again
Seeking death and sacred soil
I ride the longing winds of my blackened soul
Eternally"
–Emperor, Ye Entrancemperium
It seems that ADVENT has suddenly found themselves between a rock and a hard place. Or in this case, a rock and a portal to the realm of Oblivion, which is where these hellish beings dressed in black and wielding weaponry unlike anything seen on Earth have been coming from.
This mod adds the Daedric Armor set as cosmetic body parts for both genders, as well as most of the Daedric Weaponry set as a series of ghost templates (see below).
The armor is separated into the Helmets, Torso, Left/Right Arm, Legs, and Shoulder categories for some degree of mixing and matching, but i mostly did it this way due to me splitting up the parts and their relevant assets into their own unique .UPKs to optimize asset loading.
All items in this pack (minus ebony blade) come with a re-textured "Royal" variant taken from the Daedric Armor & Weapon Improvement [www.nexusmods.com] mod made by GarryG [www.nexusmods.com] over at Nexus Mods.
Tint wise, nothing here is tintable, i didn’t see a point to it when this stuff is so monochromatic. However, the helmets have a variant that come with glowing eyes that can be tinted with Secondary Armor Color.
The weaponry featured in this pack are a series of ghost templates that use Iridar’s Template Master to function, so you’ll need some extras to make use of them:
- XSkin (personally recommended) – Allows you to re-skin any weapon you want with ease directly in the armory.
- Template Master itself – Lets you set up your own weapon templates or replace aspects of others through config.
- Weapon Skin Replacer – Ditto, but older and with less features.
If you use XSkin, the ‘Owned’ filter needs to be turned off to actually see the weapons in the re-skin menu, as the player doesn’t technically ‘own’ the weapons as they’re ghost templates.
- Daedric Armor (1 Variant) (M/F, Helmets, Torso, Left/Right Arm, Legs, Shoulders)
- Daedric Weaponry (Melee Weapons + Shields)
- Helmets: 4
- Torso: 2
- Left/Right Arm: 2
- Legs: 2
- Shoulders: 2
- Melee Weapons: 11
- Shields: 2
- Daedric War Axe (TESV_Daedric_War_Axe)
- Daedric Battle Axe (TESV_Daedric_Battle_Axe)
- Daedric Dagger (TESV_Daedric_Dagger)
- Daedric Sword (TESV_Daedric_Sword)
- Daedric Greatsword (TESV_Daedric_Greatsword)
- The Ebony Blade (TESV_Daedric_Ebony_Blade)
- Daedric Shield (TESV_Daedric_Shield)
For the royal variant templates, add "Royal_" after "TESV_" to a weapon’s template name (minus ebony blade) so it looks like "TESV_Royal_".
EXAMPLE:
TESV_Daedric_Sword –> TESV_Royal_Daedric_Sword
- Resistance Warrior Kevlar
- Prototype Armoury
- Titan Armor
- Metion Battlesuits
- Superheavy Battlesuits
- Heavy & Light Kevlar Armors
- Invisible Body Parts For All – REQUIRED so you have a way to take off auxiliary body parts.
- Template Master – REQUIRED for the ghost template weaponry to function.
- Daedric/Spawn Cloak – Was originally integrated with this mod at first, but was made standalone.
- Stormrider Class – The prime class choice to assign to your daedric death knights.
- Ballistic Shields – This mod allows you to utilize the two ballistic shield options this pack comes with. Stormriders can also utilize these.
- The red glow is missing on the armor and weapons like here. [static.wikia.nocookie.net] I’d need to create a custom emissive material to make this happen, something that gives the light a smooth fade with no hard edges, which isn’t possible with the default materials.
VERSION 1.3 (2/27/2024)
- The change notes are too big for this already long description, so read them here.
- GarryG – Creator of the Daedric Armor & Weapon Improvement [www.nexusmods.com] re-texture mod, of which i’ve taken the assets from to use in this pack.
- Bethesda Studios – Creators of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and most of the assets used in this pack.
