Chaos Ogres
My personal take on Chaos Ogres.
This mod adds the following units for Chaos and Norsca:
-Chaos Ogre Warriors capped at 3
-Chaos Ogre Warriors (Great Weapons) capped at 3
-Chaos Mournfang Cavalry capped at 3
I mainly capped them because Chaos Ogres are supposed to be rarer than average Ogres and to not make the Ogre mercenary camps obsolete while playing with Chaos or Norsca.
If you don’t like caps just ask down in the comment section for a no cap version and I’ll make one.
They are available through the following building chains:
-Chaos Ogre Warriors and Chaos Ogre Warriors (Great Weapons) are available through the main worship building chain with Chaos, you’ll also need the forge buildings.
-Chaos Mournfang Cavalry Is available through the main forge building chain with Chaos, you’ll also need the worship buildings.
-Chaos Ogre Warriors and Chaos Ogre Warriors (Great Weapons) are available through the main military building chain with Norsca, you’ll also need the smith buildings.
-Chaos Mournfang Cavalry Is available through the main smith building chain with Norsca, you’ll also need the stable buildings.
Ok, presentation over: let’s dive into the technical stuff!
*BALANCE*
They are not very different from vanilla Ogres aside from increased stats.
If you feel like the units should be nerfed, buffed or adjusted in certain areas your feedback (if reasonable) Is welcome.
I’m open to changes.
NOTICE: The units’ stats screenshot was taken with the unit size setting set to large, so expect more HP and unit models if you are playing on Ultra.
*COMPATIBILITY*
As far as I know this mod works with pretty much everything that do not mess too much with vanilla units.
I’m playing the game with 100+ different mods and everything is working fine!
The mod is NOT save compatible.
If you want these Chaos Ogres in your campaign you’ll have to start a new one.
*KNOWN ISSUES*
-Minor clipping here and there
-Left shoulder pads should not clip like before the fix but they might still look odd while performing certain animations and still clip a little
-Left shoulder pads look kinda floaty
*UPDATES POLICY*
Let me be straight with you…when the mod status change from updated to outdated….if you start to spam in the comment section things like "update pls, OMG UPDATE, can we have an update my good sir?, UpDaTe!1!1!1" and similar stuff….know that https://media.giphy.com/media/e3URFlLQywEPC/giphy.gif
…But jokes aside: please don’t do that.
When it becomes necessary, and when I can, I will update my stuff, do not worry.

Maybe I’ll add the dual weapons variant in a second moment but I feel like these three variants are already enough.
Personally I don’t like the idea of Chaos Ogres using pistols so I’ll probably skip that variant for good.
