Harmony in Diversity: City-States Diversity
This is a part of Harmony in Diversity that expands city states, based on CIVITAS City States Expanded and will overwrite its modifications.
Though it can be enabled as a standalone mod, but it is designed for "Harmony in Diversity" and better used in that environment.
Currently only contains new Agricultural and Maritime city states, Other types of city states are under planning.
As there are new type of city state, we increase the default number of cities states by 1/3 (24 for huge maps).
The 10-envoy bonus have been introduced by CIVITAS and we do not change that (except for Agricultrual and Maritime ones)
The bonus for Maritime ones:
- 1: +2 Gold for Capital and Light house.
- 3: +4 Gold for Consulate and Shipyard.
- 6: +6 Gold for Chancery and Seaport.
- 10: +2 Gold for each building inside diplomacy and Harbor district.
The bonus for Agricultrual ones:
- 1: +1 food for Capital and Granary.
- 3: +2 food for Consulate and Aqueduct.
- 6: +3 food for Chancery and Sewer.
- 10: +4 food for Chancery, Food Market and Shopping Mall.
When JNR’s District Expansion: Aqueduct enabled, it becomes:
- 1: +1 food for Capital and Cistern.
- 3: +2 food for Consulate and Cistern tier-one building.
- 6: +3 food for Chancery and Sewer.
- 10: +4 food for Chancery, Food Market and Shopping Mall.
The list of changes for city states:
New agricultural city states:
- Fergana: +15% growth rate for cities that located on hills or adjacent to Mountains. +1 Food for Hill tiles inside cities that located on hills or adjacent to Mountains.
- Mombasa: Aqueduct provides +1 Science and +1 Culture for Plantations in the city.
- Cahokia: Bonus unchanged with type change.
- Honolulu: +2 Food for cities adjacent to Lakes or Coasts, +1 Culture from Fishing Boats, +1 Food from Fishery.
- Kiev: Your cities earn +7% Production when you are at war with any civilization. Your cities earn +7% Food when you are at peace with all civilizations.
- Aswan: +50% Construction speed when building Aqueduct, Dam, Canal Districts and their buildings.
- Catalhoyuk: +1 Amenity for cities that adjacent to rivers. Aqueduct provides +1 Amenity.
- Yangon: Aqueduct provides +1 to tiles in this city that adjacent to fresh waters.
New Maritime city states:
- Riga: Harbor and each its building provide +1 Science for International Trade Routes start from the city.
- Genova: +50% production speed towards districts for cities have Harbor District.
- Sevastopol: +1 Combat Strength per unused Movement for your naval units.
- Algiers: +1 attack for Naval Raiders.
- Acapulco: Lake and Coast tiles provide small adjacency bonus to Harbors, provide standard adjacency instead when complete Mass Production.
- Havana: +2 Culture for coastal cities. +1 Culture for Breathtaking plots.
- Hormuz: +2 Amenity per luxury.
- Djibouti: Coast tile provide +1 Food to City Centers. Also provide +1 Production when completing Ship Building, extra +1 Production after completing Steam Power.
The Manila take place of Cahokia in Trade City States.
Manila: Your International Trade Routes +2 Food, double when they start from coastal cities.

Catalhoyuk, Mombasa, Havana, Hormuz and Djibouti are CIVITAS city states.
The icon of Yangon comes from Suk’s Burma.
Contents of Kiev and Honolulu comes from Gedemo’s Kyiv and Honolulu.
Contents of Riga and Genova comes from Gedemo’s Riga and Genova.
The icon of Manila and Sevastopol comes from Asia (and East Europe) City States Pack.
