More Accurate Venetics
Changes the adriatic Venetic culture in the game to make them more accurate.

Whilst the Adriatic Veneti are represented in the game, they are simply given Roman names, and worship the same gods as the romans. However we do in fact have accounts of and inscriptions from the adriatic Veneti, showing their religion and names to be utterly distinct. And while the later veneti did indeed assimilate into Roman culture and religion, they did so in a similar (albiet more willing) fasion as other peoples the Romans subjugated, like the gauls or iberians. And yet, not all the cultures in the game are simple reflections of Roman domination.
This mod, therefore, aims to present a more accurate version of the Venetkens, as they existed in this time period, in the game.
Things changed in this mod:
– Changed the Venetic names to more historically accurate ones
– Created a new religion for the Veneti, with 8 attested deities to choose from (this religion is now no longer present in the game setup, however veneto should still start with venetic deities.
– Changed the Venetic name list (in the latin culture file) from roman names to attested Veneti names (all the venetic names added to the mod are present in Venetic inscriptions from before the arrival of the Romans).
To do:
– Custom flavour for the Venetic culture.
– Fixing up localization and making things more accurate.
– Balancing the new religions and heritage.
