Police Uniforms Overhaul (PUO)
PUO is a vanilla-friendly modification that aims to fix and improve the police uniforms of Project Zomboid in various ways!
Features:
- All police uniforms have been retextured. Concept arts made for a game called Beyond: Two Souls (see the pictures above) were used as a baseline. All shirts now have open collars, like hawaiian shirts do.
- Short sleeve shirts are now categorised as such, which means that t-shirts can now be worn underneath them.
- Prison guard shirts, as well as white police shirts, now also have short sleeve counterparts.
- Police undershirts were added into the game. These are specifically designed to be worn under the uniform, having shorter sleeves. They’re lootable at police stations and on zombies.
- Police officers now wear peaked caps, rather than campaign hats! Peaked caps have their own, unique icon! For the anecdote (and to give credit where it’s due), the icon is a heavily edited peaked cap from.. Habbo Hotel. Laugh all you want, but I think it fits perfectly into the game!
- New Police Boots! They’re a more.. "athletic" version of your usual army boots, but won’t last you as long or offer you as much stomping power (they’re beween casual boots and army boots in terms of stats).
- Some names were changed : "Police Trooper" items now are called "Police Officer" items, while "Police Deputy" items are now called "State Trooper" items.
- A new vanilla-friendly patrol car for the State Troopers. It is identitical to the base police car in terms of stats, but has blue/blue strobe lights and a KSP livery.
