Description:

Auto opens doors and gates while running/sprinting — now featuring a **custom kick animation**, endurance mechanics, and an optional “breach shove” to push zombies back.


I made this mod for my own benefit on my personal server… maintenance is not guaranteed.


Features
  • Auto-opens doors and multi-tile gates while running and/or sprinting.
  • Respects vanilla rules: barricades, keys/padlocks, obstructions (won’t bypass locks).
  • Optional auto-close (only closes doors/gates opened by this mod). WARN: Not recommended for Multiplayer due to potential desync.
  • Custom Breach Animation – Build 42 only: Your character now physically kicks/bashes the door open while moving. (MP Synced: other players see you kick the door).
  • Note: I am not a professional animator. If the animation looks odd or causes issues, you can disable it in Sandbox Options.
  • Stats & XP – Build 42 only: Breaching now costs a small amount of Endurance (scales with Fitness) and grants Fitness XP.
  • Breach shove (optional) – Build 42 only: when the mod opens a door/gate, it can push nearby zombies and sometimes knock them down.

Sandbox Options
  • AutoCloseDoor – enable/disable auto-close for mod-opened doors/gates. (default: Off)
  • WhileRunning – enable/disable auto-open while running. (default: On)
  • WhileSprinting – enable/disable auto-open while sprinting. (default: On)
    Animation & Stats (Build 42)
  • EnableAnimation – Enable/Disable the custom kick animation. (default: On)
  • BreachCost – Base endurance lost per breach. (default: 0.01)
  • FitnessReducesCost – If enabled, higher Fitness reduces endurance cost. (default: On)
  • FitnessXPGain – XP gained in Fitness per breach. (default: 2.5)
    Shove Physics (Build 42)
  • ShoveNearbyZombies – enable/disable breach shove when opening. (default: On)
  • ShoveRange – shove radius (tiles). (default: 1.8 | range: 0.0–10.0)
  • ShoveAngle – shove cone angle (degrees). (default: 120.0)
  • KnockdownChance – chance (%) to knock down. (default: 35)
  • EnablePropagation – enable/disable shove wave propagation. (default: On)
  • PropagationDepth – how many tiles forward the wave can continue. (default: 2)
  • PropagationStrength – chance (%) for the wave to affect next zombie. (default: 60)

Change Notes (simplified)
  • Added Custom Breach Animation (MP Compatible).
  • Added Endurance Cost and Fitness XP mechanics.
  • Build 42: Added optional breach shove (directional + configurable propagation).
  • Refactored auto-close and improved multi-tile gate handling.
