Krev’s Hawks & Falcons [V+ Halcyon Crisis – Cut Content]
Over a year ago, Erazer asked me to make a Hawk. These have been ready for nearly seven months. There are seven skins. Three Faucons – Falcons – and three Hawks, plus a HECU themed one I made for fun.
Have at it.

Addendum:
Stop acting like you have the right to harass people on my behalf.
Do not harass Erazer. Do not harass Dustron.
Do not take this as an opportunity to start being petty and trash them or their work. Erazer is and remains a good friend of mine, and I have not to my recollection ever met Dustron and thus have nothing personal to say of them as well.
Just because I don’t participate in or actively follow V+ doesn’t mean I’m deaf to all that goes on there.
You – people who I have not and will likely never speak to in any meaningful capacity – are not entitled to be angry on my behalf. You do not have the right.
If you’re using this opportunity to start ♥♥♥♥ in my name?
♥♥♥♥ you.
– Krev.

Today, I heard Erazer launched the vehicles and such and was making an effort to finish the Halcyon Crisis. I was wondering if the skins I’d made were finally up, wondering how they were doing, what people were thinking, first impressions, all that.
It was through this that I learned that within the last few months, Erazer had apparently approached Dustron and asked them to make a new set of skins for the spinoff. Why?
From what I can tell, because:
A. Some people weren’t into the style I had from what they glimpsed.
B. Erazer caved to the crowd who insisted that these were bad because A.
So, now I learn that apparently I – or rather, my work – got replaced, and Erazer apparently forgot to tell me.
I can understand why Erazer would want to replace the work and why they’d go to Dustron, who I have never interacted with and will continue to probably never meaningfully interact with because I live in a bubble of isolation. They seem to do the bulk of the V+ skins, after all – they have established whatever standard it is people want out of V+, from what I know. Plus, Erazer had bugged me about changes a couple times already in the year-plus it’s been since he had me make the first one, and didn’t want to bother me again.
The concept of Vanilla+ never clicked with me because I never had any interest in going back to that style or trying to emulate it. I like doing my thing, I liked getting stuff rolling for GTTOD, and I don’t like kicking around contemporary-conventional settings. I suppose the way I go about things and try to scratch-model doesn’t click with the V+ formula.
Erazer, however, was a friend who wanted me to pitch in, do some skins like when I got started with the HDF – so I made an exception for him. It’s a drag that it just about ended up a waste, and worse that I had to learn about it the way I did. Can’t blame him for forgetting, and I can’t blame him for getting someone who works in the style to do the style people are asking for.
Either way, to keep these from rotting away in the subspace of a hard-disk I’m uploading them myself. I made them, after all – but I’m not bothering with a romp through RF right now for any real screenshots.
While I might have written most of the gun lore and background setting for the Halcyon Crisis, I don’t have anything in particular to say about these – partially because these are no longer the ‘official’ designs Erazer’s going with.
