Wonder, Princess of the Constant

From a fairy tale to a survivor thriller. No prince charmings, no fairy godmothers. Only you, the Constant, and the magical creatures of the forest you can make friends with – whether they want it or not.

Friend of the forest creatures:

Wonder can gain certain abilities as long as she carries certain creatures in her inventory:
– Spiders: Spiders will tolerate you presence in the Constant.
– Birds: Incoming physical damage is reduced to 90%.
– Mosquitos: Your attacks restore 5% of the landed damage as Health to you.
– Bees: Whenever a mob lands a hit on you, it takes 10 damage as well.
– Fishes: You can’t lose Sanity from wetness.
– Butterfly: You passively gain one Health in every five seconds.
– Rabbits: Your walking speed increases by 15%.
– Lightbugs and Moleworms: You gain a small light aura around you.

She can get very attached to her friends, as she feels terrible if you let her friends back to the nature with an empty stomach. If you do so, she loses a certain amount Sanity based on the creature’s missing hunger (spiders being the only exception).

If you kill or let them starve to death in your inventory, Wonder instantly goes insane. If you kill (non-hostile) carriable creatures in combat, she also loses 30 Sanity.

Are these poisonous?: Wonder falls asleep by eating raw fruits. Don’t worry, you don’t need Prince Charming to wake up, just a few seconds.

Dwarf lover: The gnome trinkets have a small Sanity-boost radius for her. More dwarfs? More Sanity!

Frog’s kiss: She turns into a frog for 10 seconds whenever a frog damages her.

She has unique voice sounds as well.

2022.08.14.: The turning-into-frog perk can be turned off now from the mod configuration menu. It also removes the floaty controls that some users have experienced.
2022.07.22.: Fixed a type-o that caused the blue skin to not appear.
V1.1.: Custom speech files added, written by LuzDelSol.
V1.0.1.: Bee perk crash fixed.
V1.0.: The mod has been published, collecting feedback.

I have a good/bad habit of adding small reworks to my characters. Check out the mod’s page when you see the mod is updating. If I feel like something is out of flavour or just doesn’t make sense anymore, I try to come up with something better.
