Description:

A Brave New World DLL mod with bug fixes, AI improvements, API extensions, and quality-of-life features.

Gaia’s Core Mod replaces the Brave New World game core with a deterministic, multiplayer-safe DLL. It is not a content pack; it provides the shared AI, database, API, bug-fix, quality-of-life, and interface framework used by Gaia’s mods and modules.

Gameplay content now lives in the Sapiens mod. The Core supplies the framework it runs on.

Configurable via SapiensModOptions

Every Core change is controlled through SapiensModOptions. By default, only AI improvements, bug fixes, and selected quality-of-life fixes are enabled. Disable them all to restore exact vanilla Brave New World behavior, engine and rules alike.

Compatibility

Requires the Brave New World expansion. Because it includes its own game-core DLL, Gaia’s Core Mod is not compatible with other DLL mods, including VMC, Vox Populi / VP, and LEKMOD.

On the interface side, the Core is fully compatible with EUI. Alternatively, you can install Gaia’s Core UI, a custom interface replacement for EUI that enables additional Core functions unavailable through the stock UI.

LANGUAGE SUPPORT

Fully localized in: English, French, German, Spanish, Korean, and Russian.
