Shieldmaiden Game Rule
Compatible with 1.16.0
This mod will add a new gamerule that will change the requirements to designate someone as shieldmaid, as long your culture allows designating shieldmaids..
Game rules:
Less restricted:
– Prowess skill must still be 12 or higher
– Close and extended family members can be designated (ignore the screenshot above)
– Your spouse and concubines can be designated
– Highborn can be designated
– Lowborn must have a spouse who’s a champion already or who’s a noble and who has a prowess skill of at least 12
– Children of your champions or shieldmaids can be designated
Unrestricted:
– Everyone who’s an adult and not in prison can be designated
Crusader Kings 3 Default:
– Everything stays as it is
Already existing save files should have the "less restricted" game rule

If you are playing CK3 neither in english or german, then the english language will be displayed until someone will release a translation for your language (As far as I know, those must be loaded after this mod). Everyone is free to do a translation and upload it to the workshop, no one has to ask me for permission!
If you want swedish, danish, norwegian, irish, gaelic, pictish, welsh or breton cultures to have shieldmaidens unlocked by default, then this is the mod for you (not required for SGR):

Patch 14th of february 2022:
Should now be able to designate a shielmaid, even if you have a religion with men and women being equal, but a culture which only allows either men or women to be knights. You won’t be able to designate someone, if religion and culture declare men and women as equal at the same time.
Required DLC:
These DLC should be installed in order to use this item.
