Hamlet Characters -Fixed and Reporked
This is a rework of Honret‘s Hamlet character’s mod. For any information not mentioned here, you can find it in the original mod’s page. (Hornet’s original mod has been taken down, I will eventually get around to rewriting the change log accordingly)
I have changed it to fix various crashes and be more balanced as well as adding more config options and Compatibility for the "Tropical Experience" and "Island Adventures" and other SW/Hamlet content mods, for a more faithful experience set the config settings to "Original" preset for settings that almost exactly match the ones from Hamlet.
This mod is compatible with the "Tropical Experience" mod and "Island Adventures" mod but that does not mean you need them to use this mod, this mod works just fine alone however having TE, IA or other SW/Hamlet mods installed will automatically enable extra features for them.
– "Mods in Menu" mod support has been fixed.
– Fixed Wonkey related client crashes.
—[Wheeler]—
– Added config options to adjust Wheeler’s Pewmatic™️ horn damage.
– Reduced default damage of Wheeler’s Pewmatic™️ horn, original settings are marked as such in the config.
– Wheeler’s Pewmatic™️ horn will now fail less often against moving targets.
—[Wilba]—
– Fixed a client crash that randomly happened when Wilba transforms.
– Added config option for how much monster meat Wilba can eat before transforming.
– Increased default amount of monster food Wilba can eat before transforming.
– Added config option for when Wilba can eat monster food without any negative effects like Webber.
– Set default option for when Wilba can eat monster food without any negative effects to only in her were form.
– Added a config option to not set Wilba’s health to max on transform for balancing, off by default.
– Wilba no longer resets to max health when reloading a save.
– Wilba’s silver necklace will equip to the amulet slot if you have a mod that adds one such as "Extra equip slots".
– Wilba can no longer equip things in the amulet or backpack slot when in her were form if you have a mod that adds them.
—[Wagstaff]—
– Fixed Wagstaff’s ability to investigate peculiar objects when TE is installed on the server.
– Added more objects to the list of objects that can be peculiar such as mush-trees and lunar trees.
– Added SW/Ham objects to the list of peculiar objects such as jungle trees, claw palmtrees, and charcoal boulders.
– Added some rewards for investigating peculiar objects when TE is installed such as oincs and relics.
– Added configuration options for peculiar objects.
– The Telebrella is now activated from right clicking the item while equipped rather than solid ground.
—[Warbucks]—
– Added config option for Blunderbuss damage
– Set Blunderbuss damage to be effected by the explosives power, gunpowder will result in the usual damage.
– Nerfed Warbucks wealth sanity to be more balanced (Configurable).
– Added SW/Hamlet mod support for Warbucks wealth sanity.
– The Blunderbuss no longer crashes when loaded with a unstackable item.
– Updated quotes provided by Ze_Mental_Gentlemann (W.I.P.)
Unlisted mods are untested and may or may not work, if you try it out with a mod you like let me know how it goes.
– Tropical Experience: Full support, read changes section above for details.
– Island Adventures: Mostly supported, few minor bugs here and there, see bugs section below for details.
– Mods in Menu: Full support, allows you to view character compendium info and more. see screenshots above for (slightly outdated) details.
– Extra Equip Slots (Any): Adds ability to equip some items in the new slots.
– Reformat the entire workshop description to account for the original hamlet characters mod and it’s information being missing.

– Fix the floor looking different with the infroggles compared to DS.
– Fix missing telebrella sounds.
– Fix telebrella rain sound not looping.
– Fix Wagstaff’s main voice being misplaced.
– Warbucks’ hurt and death sounds were broken last I checked, I have no clue how to fix this or if I even have a way to fix it.
– Werewilba’s health is returned to normal upon rejoining a shard.
– Wagstaff’s heat vision somewhat ignores the ground.
– The Pewmatic™️ could use a bit of work in terms of damage.
