*Prologue*
You were born into The Compound. The high grey walls have kept you capive since you were a baby. You aren’t unique. The walls had kept your parents and their parents parents captive and many generations before them.
Since you were old enough to swing a hammer or dig in the dirt you have worked for The Compound. The Welders Guild took you in like many that didn’t find themselves suited for farm labour or mining or glass work. This is when you started to hear of a plan to escape.
It started as whispers and grew. Soon over half of the Welders had joined together in planning our escape. Then before we knew it the day was upon us…
