Yellow Line Skills for Hero Units

This mod adds the default hero combat skill line to a variety of hero units that previously did not have it.


Supported Units

This applies to the following units so far:

  • Cathay Alchemist
  • Cathay Astromancer
  • Warriors of Chaos Sorcerers
  • Kislev Frost Maidens
  • Empire Battle Wizards
  • High Elf Mages
  • Dwarf Runesmiths
  • Greenskin Orc / Goblin Shamans
  • Dark Elf Sorceresses
  • Bretonnia Damsels
  • Lizardmen Skink Priests
  • Wood Elf Spellsingers
  • Tomb King Liche Priests
  • Vampire Counts Necromancers
  • Ogre Firebelly
  • Tzeentch Cultists
  • Tzeentch Iridescent Horrors
  • Beastmen Bray Shaman
  • Norsca Fimir Balefiend
  • Norsca Shaman Sorcerer

This mod does not contain any unique balance changes and the skills added are the same as other melee-capable heroes.


Warning about Saved Heroes

⛔️ If you save a hero with this mod enabled and then later disable the mod, your game may experience crashes as the new skills I have added to the heroes are not able to be read by the base game if the mod is not active. ⛔️

Your best option is to either:

  • Don’t save heroes at all.
  • Don’t save heroes that have points in yellow line skills (other skills should not cause a problem)


Compatability

– This mod is compatible with my other mods that are not Yellow Line HERO mods. For example: this mod is compatible with Alchemist – Lore of Fire and Dragon-blooded Lord – Yellow Line Skills, but is NOT compatible with Alchemist – Yellow Line Skills as this mod includes that one.

⛔️ This mod is NOT COMPATIBLE with my individual yellow line mods for hero units. Please make sure all of them are disabled or unsubscribed! ⛔️

– If you are currently using a mod such as Alchemist – Yellow Line Skills and want to change to this mod mid-campaign, you do not need to start a new campaign. The game will say that certain mods are missing but if you tick "Enable all saves" on the load save menu and start up the game you should not have any issues.

– This mod is save game compatible. You can enable it on existing saves without worry!

– Not tested against SFO.
