Updated on Feb 18, 2023: Added the support for Assassin Brotherhood secret society. Thanks to PhantomJ_M for contribution.

A secret society created with the idea using all other societies’ promotions as unique policy cards in the Wildcard slots. Can be unlocked by all four ways (sending an Envoy, discovering a Natural Wonder, discovering a Tribal Village, and destroying a Barbarian Camp). After all, it is the "king"!

Abilities
  • Level 1: When the Code of Laws civic is unlocked, +1 Wildcard policy slot and unlocks Level 1 effects of all other secret societies as policy cards.
  • Level 2: Unlocked in Medieval Era. +1 Wildcard policy slot. Unlocks Level 2 effects of all other secret societies as policy cards.
  • Level 3: Unlocked in Industrial Era. +1 Wildcard policy slot. Unlocks Level 3 effects of all other secret societies as policy cards.
  • Level 4: Unlocked in Atomic Era. +1 Wildcard policy slot. Unlocks Level 4 effects of all other secret societies as policy cards.

Although this society is for funny, to make it more reasonable, we even made up a story, excerpted as follows:

You felt you were seated in a gray hall. "Welcome, new compatriot." The people in the hall seem to be singing. They look so different, seem to be in different societies to people unaware, but they are sitting together at this moment, even demonstrating mysteries they know to each other.
"We steal,"
"We seek,"
"We take the crown."
Your soul returned to reality, and burning creeds emerged from the book before you.

Most secret societies are supported, including from mods. As long as these society mods are enabled, the corresponding policy cards will be available. Please refer to the collection for the supported societies.

Details
  • Not all effects can be made as a policy card, e.g. extra policy slot effect of the Owls of Minerva will crash the game if it’s made into a policy card.
  • Some effects will persist once taken effect, e.g. revealing a resource. In this case, the description of the policy card will state that it works "permanently".
  • Some effects can take effect only once, e.g. granting a vampire unit. In this case, the description of the policy card will state that it works "when this policy is applied for the first time".
  • Unapply and destroy mechanism: Players may use some policy cards only once since the above two cases exist. Such policy cards will be destroyed when they’re unapplied to make the list of available policies cleaner. In this case, the description will state that they "will be automatically destroyed when unapplied".

Need Help

Recently, many excellent secret society mods have appeared in the workshop. The author wants to support them one by one, but they lack energy and motivation. If you want to support the society you like, or simply have a different view on something, you are welcome to help the author.

The project of this mod has been open source on github [github.com].
