Tobinator’s Norsca Unit Pack

This is my latest Unit Pack project and is about the Norsca faction. I will be adding more units related to Norse Mythology in the near future.

The units will be tested extensively in the future and will receive some balancing updates over the next few days.

– 4 new units for the Norsca faction.

– 1 Hero for Multiplayer, Costum Battle and Campagne.

– Valkyries of Norsca:
,,Daughters of ancient forgotten gods. So they bring only those few souls of fallen warriors who have not been corrupted by Chaos to an ancient forgotten realm".

(Winged infantry based on Valkia. I had to make a compromise for this infantry that was easy for me personally but hard for some of you. I wanted to remove the shield from Valkia for the Valkyries, but I would have had to change something in the meta data and I didn’t want to do that. As an alternative, I created an invisible shield model of Valkia’s shield and overwrote the one from Vanilla so that it seems as if there is no shield. I had to make this compromise for the time being. For the wings I used the wings of the Beastmen and adapted them as good as possible to Valkia’s skellet. However, some of the animations are not quite compatible, which is why I had to make some compromises in this respect. The Valkyries can be recruited in the creature building level 3).

– Einherjer
,,Fallen honourable warriors who have not been corrupted by chaos and sent to the world once more to serve ancient forgotten gods".

(Very strong and heavily armoured infantry for the Norsca faction with costume helmet. To be recruited in Military Building lvl 3).

– Sons of Sleipnir

,,Worshippers of an eight-legged horse that once faithfully and fearlessly rode an ancient lost god into battle".

(This heavy cavalry rides into battle with heavily armoured and decorated war horses, increasing their stats during a prolonged battle. They have extremely good speed for their heavy armour, but unlike other cavalry units, they are not as agile in battle. Recruited in the lvl 3 stables).

– Shieldbrothers

United in rank and file, these brothers fight for a long-forgotten path of ancient gods".

(Sword and shield infantry for Norsca. Somewhat better armour and shield. But overall a little more expensive to buy and maintain. I have made a costume armour for the Shieldbrothers. To recruit in military level 1).

– Son of Thunder (Hero)

(He is a very heavy melee fighter with the ability to strengthen allies and weaken enemies. His ability "Valhalla is coming" gnaws away at his life, but makes him one of the most fearsome opponents in close combat for 60 seconds. Make sure, however, that he disappears from close combat if he has not defeated his opponent by then. He can then support with his thunder magic from a distance. He is playable in multiplayer and campaign and can be recruited in the same building as the skinchangers. He has the traits that his thunder magic costs less magic than evil (only in the campaign).

All units are playable in Costum Battle and Multiplayer.
