Exalted Daemons for Champions of Chaos – A Warband Expansion
Added Upgrade to Pleasureseekers for Exalted Daemonettes and Heartseekers
Added Skullreapers and Wrathmongers to Valkia and Be’lakor
Mercenary Ogre Bulls can now be upgraded to Plague Ogres when playing Festus or Be’lakor. UI was also fixed to fit plague ogres and bile trolls.
The original idea of this mod was to make the exalted variants of the daemon infantry units available to the Champions of Chaos. CA finally made this baseline in 4.0, so people who only want this functionality can safely ignore this mod from now on.
Therefore I removed my implementation for exalted daemonic infantry from this mod. The Upgrades for cavalry and monster units still work though and I plan to keep them functional. Please refer to the old mod description or screenshots to see which units become upgradable with this mod
Adds the ability to upgrade the Daemon units you receive as Gifts of Chaos to their exalted variants for the Champions of Chaos factions. This mod will NOT make any of those units recruitable normally but use the Warband Upgrades mechanic. Therefore the following lords receive new unit types:
Vilitch -> Exalted Pink Horrors
Valkia -> Exalted Bloodletters
Festus -> Exalted Plaguebearers
Azazel -> Exalted Daemonettes
Lords will also receive the following upgrades:
Every Warriors of Chaos Lord can dedicate Chaos Furies after researching the corresponding branding iron tech
Valkia and Be’lakor can now upgrade Exalted Bloodletters to Bloodcrushers
Vilitch and Be’lakor can now upgrade Flamers of Tzeentch to Exalted Flamers or Burning Chariots or Changebringers
Festus and Be’lakor can upgrade Exalted Plaguebearers to Plague Drones or Pox Riders of Nurgle
Azazel and Be’lakor can upgrade Daemonettes to Seeker units
Azazel and Be’lakor can upgrade Seeker Chariots to Hellflayers or Exalted Seeker Chariots
Technology requirement was moved to the technology that enables marked units which also affects Bela’kor.
