King Bowser (Version 2)
The King of the Koopas finally joins Rivals, being based on the Mario series rather than Smash Bros. Almost every one of his attacks is a reference to one of his many appearances throughout the Mario franchise. See if you can catch them all.
King Bowser is a huge heavyweight with an incredibly high jump, but extremely low airspeed. His attacks have a lot of range and kill power, with a few combo moves thrown in for good measure. He has multiple projectiles at his disposal to keep you away and fast movement options to get in. Landing a hit on him will be tough, but due to his massive size, high weight, and fall speed, one attack will likely lead to another dozen or so. He also has a meter at the bottom of the screen that fills up every time he’s hit. When it’s full, the player can activate the mighty Giga Bowser.
