Description:

This mod adds an item and a trinket, the Infini-Chest and the Incomprehensible Key!

The Infini-Chest (treasure room pool, shop pool (0.5 weight)) is a 4 room charge active item that spawns a special locked chest named the Infinichest and consumes 1 key. Infinichests spawn 5 pickups OR an item from it’s own special pool that consists of basic stat-ups from the boss pool. Infini-Chest also replaces all chests with random keys.
Infini-Chest has a unique synergy with every key-themed item and trinket in vanilla Isaac:

• Key Pieces (1+2): Having both key pieces destroys the Infini-Chest item and spawns a high quality Angel item.
• Latch Key: Using Infini-Chest spawns a trapdoor leading to the next floor or a crawlspace ladder, opening the Infinichest spawns 2 friendly blue spiders.
• Mom’s Key: The Infinichest drops double pickups, and has a doubled chance to spawn an item.
• Skeleton Key: Infini-Chest consumes 2 keys per use and spawns 2 Infinichests, opening an Infinichest spawns a friendly Bony.
• Pay to Play: Infini-Chest consumes 3 coins instead of a key. Infinichests have a 75% chance to replace key drops with coin drops.
• Guppy’s Tail: Infinichests additionally spawn 2 blue flies when opened.
• Dad’s Key: The Infinichest now drops an additional pickup for every door in the current room.
• Red Key: Infinichests spawn red items (from a special pool) instead of normal items. Red rooms have a 33% chance to spawn 2 chests, choosing one destroys the other.
• Sharp Key: Sharp Key projectiles spawn a random pickup when they hit a door. Infinichests deal damage to the entire room when opened.
• Blue Key: Infini-Chest now spawns a set of Blue enemies instead of consuming a key. Blue rooms have a 50% chance to spawn 2 chests, choosing one destroys the other.
• Crystal Key: Using Infini-Chest destroys Crystal Key, and for the rest of the floor, a special Crystal Infinichest spawns in every uncleared room that you must open within 4 seconds or else it explodes.
• Gilded Key: Using Infini-Chest destroys Infini-Chest and spawns a special Gilded Infinichest that hops around the room, dropping a random pickup every time it hops. The Gilded Infinichest has a 5% chance to spawn an item, in which case it will stop hopping and despawn.
• Rusted Key: Using Infini-Chest destroys Rusted Key and spawns 5 random keys along with the normal Infinichest.
• Store Key: Spawns an additional Infinichest that costs 7 cents to buy and open.
• Strange Key: Infini-Chest now only requires 2 rooms to charge up instead of 4.
• Paper Clip: Using Infini-Chest has a 50% chance not to consume a key.
• Incomprehensible Key: Using Infini-Chest destroys both Infini-Chest and the Incomprehensible Key, spawning 2 Angel pool items and 2 Devil pool items.
• The Left Hand: Replaces the Infinichest spawned by Infini-Chest with a normal Red Chest, effectively removing most synergies.
• Poker Chip: 50/50 chance to either double the Infinichest’s pickups or spawn no pickups and a red fly.
• Broken Padlock + ???: ???

The Incomprehensible Key is a trinket that replaces ALL golden chests with basic Infinichests (no synergies).
It’s golden/Mom’s Box enhanced effect makes the Infinichest’s drops doubled.
