DESCRIPTION
The L105/45GH "Ballista" Towed Gun-Howitzer is mobile field gun designed for use by both the Newquay Army and Marines to provide both Direct and Indirect Fire Support to troops on the ground. At 105mm the gun provides effective firepower without compromising its mobility, for which it can be transported both by all Tow-Bar equipped Newquay vehicles, or airlifted by most Newquay Helicopters, or carried internally by all Newquay Heavy Cargo Aircraft. Additionally the calibre chosen and the integration of a computerised ranging and direction system allows this gun to be operated by as few as one person, although for optimal sustained fire rate a crew of 3 is recommended (Gunner, Loader, Ammo Bearer). Two AT-2 Ammunition Trailers also come with the L105/45GH, providing 66 rounds each of High Explosive and Fragmentation rounds for the gun crew.
