Wriggle Nightbug
Wriggle Nightbug from Touhou 8: Imperishable Night joins Rivals of Aether!
Down Special (Firefly Sign "Comets on Earth"): Wriggle summons fireflies onto the stage. They’ll stay in place, but using the move again will cause them to do a dash! If they touch someone while dashing or any player gets knocked into them, they’ll go into a multihit attack.
Forward Special (Hidden Bug "Hermit of an Endless Night"): Wriggle does a quick dash forwards. The end of the move has a strong spiking hitbox. If you use this move while facing the fireflies, she’ll instantly dash over it from anywhere on the stage.
Up Special (Wriggle Sign "Nightbug Tornado"): Wriggle spins into the air and strikes a pose, sending opponents outwards. This move can be charged for extra height, and touching the fireflies with it ends the move early and doesn’t put her into pratfall!
Neutral Special (Butterfly Sign "Butterfly Storm"): Wriggle summons three butterflies onto the stage. They briefly float in the air before locking onto the nearest player. If they pass through the fireflies, they become supercharged and gain much more damage and knockback!
Some other things:
-Holding the attack button during Back Air allows you to do a small hover.
-Up Strong can slide off ledges. You’ll know when you can act out of it through a visual effect and sound effect.
-Dash Attack can be jump cancelled if it goes off ledges.
