Shelly, the Simulated Saviour from Will You Snail comes to Rivals of Aether! Comes with 4 full alternate costumes to slither in style.

Like in the simulation of his home game, it’s up to you to avoid attacks with you fast movement and strike at the right times. With light weight and weak moves, it’s all about using what you have to overcome the odds!");

MOVELIST:

Jab/FTilt/NAir: Megaman style barrage of 3 weak projectiles. Can freely move, jump, and turn while holding attack to continue firing.
DTilt: Basic sweep with a spiky hazard. Good combo starter and neutral tool.
UTilt: Slightly slow starting firework blast with a large disjointed range above Shelly.
DAttack: Boosts forward to ram opponents. Turning instantly reverses momentum and can be done repeatedly for maximum jukes.

FStrong: Fires 3 large, slow moving bullets in a spread pattern. Good coverage but inconsistent at multihitting, and slightly weak knockbock.
DStrong: Spawns spikes to either side of Shelly. Spikes can’t spawn in the air, and Shelly himself has a weaker melee hitbox when he slams down. Charging the move creates more spikes similar to Olympia’s DStrong.
UStrong: A tall, thin laser blast upward. Shelly’s most consistent strong for kill power.

FAir: Spins around with a falling block before dropping it down. A well rounded move useful in many situations.
BAir: A slow to start attack using an airspike. Hard to hit but a fantastic kill move.
DAir: A downward volley of weak projectiles. Gives an upward boost. If one of the projectiles is parried the entire group will be reflected.
UAir: Same story as DAir but fired upward. Launches Shelly downward so risky to use offstage.

NSpecial: Places a Node. Nodes become active after a second of being placed and can then be linked to other active nodes within their radius, drawing a line between them.
DSpecial: Places a Power Node. Link it to an existing web of Nodes to electrify them, creating a hitbox along their lines. After the attack, all electrified nodes will be destroyed.
FSpecial: Locks onto the nearest opponent then fires 3 weak projectiles toward them.
USpecial: Shelly rides a bubble to the top blastzone before it pops. No hitbox but can move side to side for an agile, hard to punish recovery. Press Special or Jump to pop the bubble at any point.
