Develop as a kind of defensive grenade to throw from inside a trench or from behind cover (over it),this Dutch impact grenade was quickly developed during WW1 in case the Dutch entered it,and became one of the main grenades of the Dutch army.It had a rope tail that stabilized the grenade in flight so that the detonator was always looking forwards and down.This ensured the fuse activated when it hit something.
Even though it was apparently widely used and tested (with several production variants,though most were training types),there’s not that much information about this grenade anywhere
