Blessed Are The Sick
Blessed are the Sick introduces a host of new diseases to injure, infect, and infest the heroes of the Hamlet. Can they withstand the horrors of Dry Mouth? Will they survive their bout of Milk Blood? Will their Sentient Tumor ever stop speaking to them in an unknowable language that rattles their bones and casts their consciousness into the stars? It’s time to wipe down the Sanitarium, start paying the Plague Doctor, and find out.
This mod adds 30 new diseases to the base game’s random pool. Among these are:
14 Conventional diseases
6 Evolving diseases that will change so long as they aren’t cured
5 Contagious diseases that will spread among your adventuring party
5 Behavior altering diseases that will cause your heroes to act out
Many of the new diseases contain positive effects along with their negative symptoms, to create interesting tradeoffs between curing a disease immediately and keeping it around a bit longer. The evolving diseases especially are meant to facilitate unique hero builds where some power is exchanged for persistent sickness.
Blessed are the Sick only adds new content, and should not have any compatibility issues. All DLCs are required for the mod to function properly.
