DESCRIPTION

The Ostauto MRCP 6×6 is a medium truck built on the MUTT Chasis for the Newquay Coastguard to serve as a Rescue Command and Control Post both for at sea rescues, and lnland bodies of water. The MRCP features a command and medical cabin on the rear of the Truck chassis, which allows for Command and Incident Level communications to be coordinated from a central location, as well as observing the area with a telescopic camera mast, both at night and during the day. Additionally the command post can received the locations of other assets involved or send Waypoints to them to direct rescue forces to an area of interest.

STARTUP PROCEDURE:

– BATTERY ISOLATOR
– RELEASE HYDRAULIC BRAKE
– IGNITION [ALLOW ENGINE TO REACH ATLEAST 4RPS]
– REDUCE HANDBRAKE TO 0
– DRIVE GEAR [OR REVERSE GEAR DEPENDING ON SITUATION]
– [W] TO DRIVE, [S] TO BRAKE

COMMAND POST:

CAMERA:
– Turn on RAISE CAMERA
– Use A/D to Rotate and W/S to Zoom

RECEIVING GPS/VIDEO DATA FROM OTHER ASSETS:
– Note this will only work on compatible Assets, see the Compatibility List below
– Set the GPS Send Channel on the other asset’s Transponder Keypad
– Set the GPS RCEV/VIDEO FREQUENCY in the Command Post to the above chosen channel
– The Asset’s position and, Video if available, will now be displayed on the map

SENDING GPS/VIDEO DATA TO OTHER ASSETS:
– Note this will work on any asset that can recieve a GPS Waypoint to its Map via radio
– Set the GPS SEND/VIDEO FREQUENCY in the Command Post to the desired Send Channel
– Set the GPS Recieve Frequency on the other assets with the above frequency
– The Command Post Waypoint & Video will now be sent to the other assets
