Mad Dummy
Let the fiercest of battles rage on with Mad Dummy from UNDERTALE! Take on your foes with a flurry of whacky moves, swift and sharp knife attacks, and even allow some friends of their to assist as you pummel the opponent with cotton!
Neutral Special: Magic Fluff – Mad Dummy will puff out a magic cotton ball, which will briefly stay in place before homing in on the closest opponent. The cotton ball will deal a little bit of damage with set knockback, and can the move can only be used if Dummy doesn’t have a cotton ball already out or has already hit someone with a cotton ball.
Forward Special: Knife Throw – Mad Dummy takes out their knife and takes aim with it. The knife can be aimed in three set angles, and Dummy can move forward or backwards to set himself up before throwing the knife out. Dummy can also cancel the move by parrying/airdodging, and they’ll go into pratfall if they holds the knife out for too long. The knife itself deals plentiful damage and knockback, but there’s a catch: they can only use it once every 30 seconds, and while it’s gone, Dummy’s tilts will be weaker and shorter ranged. Parrying an attack or getting KO’d will give Dummy his knife back.
Up Special: Tiresome Twirl – Mad Dummy tires of your aimless shenanigans and flies upwards while spinning rapidly. The move itself deals no damage whatsoever, but it’s great for vertical recovery.
Down Special: Call a Friend – Mad Dummy will call upon a smaller dummy that correlates with a couple of their specials. Holding down the special button will charge a meter, and at full meter, Dummy will summon a robot instead of a regular dummy. Pressing parry or getting hit during charge will make him keep it.
Like aforementioned, Mad Dummy’s down special will call upon a smaller dummy. Both types of dummy do something during Dummy’s Neutral and Up Specials. During neutral special, the regular dummy will send out a cotton ball that behaves the same way as its friend’s, and the robot dummy will fire a missile that will home in on the closest opponent for a second before flying off in a direction, both of which will hurt Mad Dummy if they’re unlucky enough to be in their way, so it’s best to be careful about that. Up Special will make the dummy rise up and hit anyone in the way (robot will hit harder and fly higher). If the dummy is to hit someone during that attack, a spark will appear on Mad Dummy to indicate they won’t go into free fall after up special and that they can cancel the move into a jump or aerial attack.
