In 1812, after massive french failures on the peninsular war and the almost certain collapse of his brother’s domain, Napoleon Bonaparte was forced to intervene with part of his Grande Armée.

However, Napoleon’s marshall’s were able to stop the coalition long enough for Napoleon to come back, He also offered Austria the croatian territories in order to get into the war on his side.
Napoleon managed to defeat Prussia and Russia, but his army was exhausted and the invasion of russia was cancelled, a peace treaty was agreed, one that put Europe finally in peace, for a long time.
After Britain saw this, and we their allies tired of war and with no chance of a land invasion of the home island or an attack in the mainland, they decided to also making a peace treaty with France, not before taking all the colonies of Spain, the Netherlands, and France.
Now Napoleon and his heir are dead, his brother Louis took the throne of the empire, and with the flame of nationalism, and old rivalries still to deal with, will France be able to deal with this challenges and keep their throne as the Master of Europe?
