Finland Overhaul
Lets face it, Finland could really use some improvements since it was left behind and many aspects were left undone. Meant mainly for Conquest since it adds new units there. Of course you can play it Skirmish or with friends in MP with the same mods installed or use it in editor.
It’s hard to list every change but here are some of the stuff:
-Fixes vanilla textures missing proper winter texture variants (like peacoat).
-Fixes wrong collar patch colors or difference in season textures.
-New breeds and edits existing breeds (proper squad leaders, new units, new squad compositions)
-Assets (new hats, color variants, new camos, new uniforms, retextures)
-New portraits, new squad images, new squad icons
-Makes use of unused stuff and assets (stuff that never make it to the game or were unused)
-Adds MANY new voicelines (nco, officer, sniper, medic, tank)
-Adds Po-2 Recon plane to the Finns with proper textures
NOTE THAT MODDING THESE TAKES TIME AND NERVES! AND IT’S A LOT OF WORK FOR A ONE GUY.
Everything I did was a hard process since I had little to no previous experience about modding. Also there was so much work to try to bring some of the unused stuff to work again. Also some of the game assets use older humanskins and some use new system where uniforms every detail is part of the model. I’m not a modeler so i have no experience to change everything.
