Generate Mothers (EK2)
This is a version of my existing Generate Mothers mod (https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2514207912), but for Elder Kings 2. It does two related things, both involving the Generate Families game rule: 1) For any legitimate living child who has only one parent set in the history files, this mod generates the corresponding other parent. This works just like in the base game version, but takes into account EK2-specific traits that block children and sends all generated characters through the EK2 effect to give them proper lifespan traits and so on. This is available in addition to the regular family generation or as its own option for that game rule. 2) For long-lived Mer, it seemed silly to retain the way that the regular family generation generates all the children to have been born before the mother is 40. So instead, I modified the game rule effects to spread out the ages of generated Mer children. Obviously, this is a new feature for this variant of my mod. It’s the part that is most likely to have bugs, so report anything that seems wrong, please. You will need to place this submod below EK2 in your mod load order for it to work.
