BR Class 180 Adelante
Alstom Class 180 Adelante DMU, part of the Coradia 1000 family. The type was first called Zephyr, but later renamed to Adelante. They are currently the only high-speed multiple unit with a hydraulic transmission. 278 PAX per 5-car unit, two of which can be paired. The mod also includes a 10-car unit, which was proposed several times but never implemented (592 PAX). The units had a troubled introduction into service back in 2001, but once the teething problems were resolved, they proved themselves reliable and are considered one of the most comfortable DMUs on British rails.

The mod has a top speed of 220 kph, which is what the Hydraulic T 312 bre is rated for. In regular operation, the sets are limited to 201 kph (125 mph).
