Description:
Golem, the Megaton Pokemon, rolls into the competition!

After 9 months in development, we finally present the much promised version of Golem with actual Rivals-styled sprites! On top of that, the gameplay is now much more "normalized" as well, to better make it feel like a Rivals character and less overly unique.

Overview

This version of Golem plays more similarly to a heavyweight, with slow overall movement, but high power and damage, while also not sacrificing in framedata or comboes, but rather in a limited recovery.
On top of that, its overall specials are all meant to provide all the instruments you’d see on a classic all-rounder, with a projectile to extend comboes and close the gap, a projectile-immune rush and good normals.
Its gimmick also provides armor on some moves and more options, allowing for creative mixups on your movement and to make winning a trade of blows much easier.

Overall, Golem is a pretty easy character to pick up, with intuitive buttons and a clear gameplan, but not without its own depth.

Gimmick: Stealth Rocks

DSpecial will summon rocks to attack. On whiff, this will leave you with 1 rock, while on hit you’ll get 2. You can’t hold more than 4.

These rock’s purpose is to be used as fodder for the rest of your kit:

NSpecial normally has 1.5 seconds of cooldown. The enhanced version has only 1;
– the same applies for charged NSpecial, but it will cost 2 rocks instead of 1;
FSpecial can be canceled into a jump at the cost of 1 rock if the move hits;
USpecial gains super armor if enhanced at the cost of 2 rocks;
NAir, DStrong and UTilt get armor if enhanced, that will resist up to 13% damage for 1 hit;
FStrong also gains super armor if enhanced;

As for its other Specials, they’re as follows:
NSpecial has Golem throwing a rock, which will roll in front of you. If you charge the move, a Geodude will be thrown, which bounces. One is a combo option, while the other can kill people. Guess which does what ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°);
FSpecial is Rollout: you jump and then roll. The initial jump and the roll itself can be canceled into a dodge or parry and you’re projectile-immune while rolling.
USpecial is an explosive jump upwards. Golem deals damage during said jump, while the explosion below him counts as a spike;

Finally, here’s some interesting traits:
– You can hold taunt;
– Jab1 is Special Cancelable;
– DTilt and FStrong have Sturdy Armor, same as the enhanced moves described above.
